Solera, Mundo: the club training balls
The Solera, in the colours of the EHF, available in blue, white, green, or orange, is used in both matches and daily training. Yes, the match Ultimate is designed for competition and play with resin. Clean it after each use to maintain its feel. For a hall without resin, consider the Campo instead.
What does DB mean on a Select ball?
DB stands for dual bonded: the panels are both stitched and glued. This construction results in a ball that is more waterproof and durable, found on the HB Force and the Campo.
Can an Ultimate be used for training?
It can be used, but it wears out faster than a training ball. Most clubs reserve it for matches and warm-ups, and train with Solera or Mundo balls.
