Founded in Germany at the very beginning of the twentieth century, Erima takes its name from Erich Mak, who later took it over, and its handball textiles stay true to one idea: to outfit an entire club.
Shirts, shorts, tracksuit jackets, softshells and padded jackets, for men, women and juniors: everything needed to kit out the team from the pitch to the sidelines.
Erima started with gymnastics outfits before moving towards team sports. Based in Pfullingen, Germany, the brand has remained specialised in team sports. Their textiles are designed with the club in mind: ranges available in shirts, shorts, jackets, and trousers, in matching colours.
The shirts and shorts make up the bulk of the page. They come in ranges named Madrid, Retro, Rio, or Liga, each with its own cut and colour palette. A club selects a range, then the colour, and completes the look with matching shorts and socks.
For cold days, Erima offers softshell Function jackets in black and charcoal, red and white, grey and green, or blue and white, in men's and women's cuts. The puffer jackets, short or long, keep substitutes and coaches warm in poorly heated venues. The Evo hooded jacket Star completes the warm-up outfit.
Polos and t-shirts have a prominent place on the page, alongside jackets and tracksuit trousers. This is the typical outfit for coaches and volunteers, in the club's colours. The polo can transition from the sidelines to committee meetings without needing a change.
The page offers many pieces for women, from Racing leggings to softshell jackets, along with a wide junior selection. Young players can wear the same ranges as seniors, in the same colours. For a team, make sure the chosen range is available in all necessary sizes.
To compare the team ranges, check out the textile Hummel, the textile Kempa, focused on handball, or the textile Errea, which is very colourful. All brands are gathered on the handball textile brands page, and clearance items are on the textile clearance page.
It comes from Erich Mak, who took over the German company in the first half of the twentieth century: ERIch MAk. The brand already existed under a different name. It took on the name Erima after the war, specialising in team sports.
It is mainly for the sidelines and the journey, due to its windproof fabric. For actual warm-ups, a lighter tracksuit jacket would be more comfortable. Save the softshell for before and after the match.
First, choose a range of shirts, then check if it is available in adult, women's, and junior sizes. Complete with shorts and jackets from the same range to keep the colours coordinated. Note each player's sizes to simplify reordering.
They are designed to keep you warm on the bench, in the stands, or on the way to the game, not for playing. Their benefit is to layer a warm garment over the match outfit. The longer versions also cover the thighs.
Check the size guide on the product page, for chest and waist measurements. Women's cuts have their own size charts. If you're unsure, have a player try on a model before ordering for the team.
