No need to look for a model specifically for handball: the handball socks Puma come from football and are available in the most common team colours.
Adults, children, with or without a foot, invisible ankle socks: the page caters to both match and gym attire.
The teamGOAL leads the way. Unified and rising, it comes in red, black, green, blue, light blue and yellow, in both adult and child versions. It’s the team sock from Puma: the same model, in the same colours, from school handball to seniors.
The teamGOAL also comes without a foot, in white, for adults and children. You wear your own non-slip footies, if you want, and the footless part over the top. In matches, the whole team must adopt the same solution, as the socks and whatever is worn on the lower leg must be the same colour.
The Liga Core plays with colours and stripes: red and white, black and white, electric blue and white, dark purple and white, yellow, fluorescent pink, or blue striped with black. It suits clubs that want a sock with a colour match, for both adults and children.
The Invisible come in packs of three pairs, in grey, white and black or navy blue. They disappear into the shoe and are great for the gym, jogging, or everyday use. They can also go underneath a footless sock.
Puma is a German brand, founded in Herzogenaurach, very present in football, which is where its teamGOAL and Liga lines come from. Its club socks work in the hall as well as on grass, with the same team colours as in football.
For other club socks, check out the socks adidas, with their Team Sleeve, the socks Erima, which also have their leg sleeves, or the socks Craft. All the brands are on the handball socks page, and the low prices on the textile clearance page.
First, put on a footie or short sock, then slide the footless part on top, pulling it up to below the knee. Everything should stay in place during activity. A strap in the same colour can secure the top if needed.
They are also chosen by size range, with sizes suitable for younger kids. Measure the child’s shoe size rather than relying on their age. A well-fitted sock helps prevent blisters.
Not necessarily. A club sock like the teamGOAL is still suitable for a hall shoe. If your shoe is already very snug, try it with the sock before the match to check comfort.
Both work. The invisible footie disappears into a low shoe, while the short sock protects the back of the heel. Choose based on your shoe and sensitivity to rubbing.
Wash it inside out and in cold during the first washes, separated from light colours. Avoid prolonged soaking. The white stripes will thus retain their sharpness.
