For the first few weeks, yes. After that, the club uses its own balls, and a training ball in the appropriate size for the category will help the player progress at home.

Can you play on asphalt with a leisure ball?
Yes, that's actually its intended use. It will wear out faster than on a wooden floor, but it is made for this type of surface, unlike a match ball.
Does a leisure ball inflate like a club ball?
