Start with your session list, not the catalogue: hand training accessories are chosen workshop by workshop, from bibs that form the teams to hurdles that work on footwork.
Water bottles for the bench, balance boards for injury prevention, stopwatches, whistles and tactical boards for coaching, educational games for the handball school: all the small equipment for the club is brought together here, including some multi-sport items.
The vests take up a large part of the page. Mizuno offers them in packs of six, in fluorescent yellow, fluorescent pink, or royal blue, and Errea has its models Kenny, Alison, and Darrell. For a group, plan for two clearly distinct colours and a few extra pieces for latecomers.
For a session lasting one and a half hours, a bottle of six to seven hundred millilitres is often enough, and a large one close to a litre can last a tournament. The Nike Big Mouth bottles have a wide neck that’s easy to fill, the Sideline Squeeze from Under Armour can be squeezed with one hand, and the titanium bottle from Snow Peak is more for hiking. The bottle carrier from Select carries those for the entire team.
Low hurdles are used for quick footwork workshops, jumps, and changes of pace, which prepare players for handball. Cones, markers, and ground markings define the lanes and small play areas.
Shooting receptions, feints, contacts: the ankles and knees of a handball player take a lot of impact. Balance boards strengthen stabilising muscles, during warm-ups or at the end of a session, and are also used for rehabilitation after an injury, on the advice of a physiotherapist.
A stopwatch with memory records times for a speed test or a circuit to track a player's progress. The whistle starts and stops the workshops, and the tactical board is used to show a formation at half-time or during a break.
For the youngest players, the session goes through play. Foam balls, educational games, and small coloured equipment help them get used to the ball without fear, before moving on to a size 0 or 1 handball.
Some items come from other sports like football, running, or hiking, and some, like mountain bottles, are mainly for outdoor use. To go straight to the indoor equipment, filter the page by sport: handball, training, or multi-sports.
All collective equipment can be found on the club equipment page.
Current discounts on equipment are gathered in the special equipment offers. At the end of autumn, the Black Friday accessories takes over, followed by the equipment sales in winter and summer.
Fluorescent shades, yellow or pink, stand out against most club kits. Choose a colour that is absent from your team's outfits and those of your training opponents.
Yes, for hygiene reasons. A personal water bottle, marked with the player's name, prevents sharing the neck and helps everyone drink regularly during the session.
Start with the lowest ones, so the child can keep their rhythm without breaking it. Raise the height when their foot no longer touches the hurdle while maintaining speed.
Yes for cones, hurdles, vests, and balance boards, which are used in all team sports. However, balls, goals, and nets must be specific to handball.
Wash vests after each session at low temperature. Cones, hurdles, and balance boards can be cleaned with soapy water and then left to air dry before storing.
