The upper of the Topflight Pro is constructed with glued TPU reinforcements, combining durability, lightweight feel, and precise support. In the midsole, the Reach cushioning absorbs landings, while the Ortholite insole adds a layer of comfort. Overall, it remains a low shoe, allowing free ankle movement during fakes.

The non-marking rubber outsole grips the court and doesn’t leave any marks. It assists in braking and changing direction without losing grip. To maintain its grip, keep the shoe for indoor use and wipe the rubber before each match.
Topflight Pro VC and LC, the junior versions
The Topflight Pro VC Jr features an elastic lace and a cuttable Velcro strap, in kids sizes. The Topflight Pro LC Jr moves to real laces with a locking system and a breathable mesh upper, up to the first adult sizes. A young player can thus wear the same shoe as the seniors of their club.

The Powerstrike shares the same technical base, with a different design. The Algiz is aimed at defenders and heavier players, while the Dagaz is for attackers. For a child just getting started, the Multiplay is easier to put on.

It is great for players who rely on their accelerations, but Hummel doesn’t restrict it to any specific position. A centre-half or a back will also find it suitable if they’re looking for a low and grippy shoe.
When should one move from VC to LC?
As soon as the child can tie their laces by themselves. The LC version holds the foot better during direction changes, which is important when sessions become more intense.
Does the Topflight Pro suit a female player?
Yes, the adult model is unisex, and there is a women’s version in a silver colourway. Start with the length of your foot in centimetres to choose the size in the Hummel chart.
How many sessions does it take to break them in?
Generally, two or three training sessions are enough for the upper to conform to the foot. Avoid breaking them in on an important match day.
How to avoid bad smells?
Loosen the laces, open the tongue well, and let the shoe dry in the open air after each session, away from the sports bag. Alternating with a second pair also helps the foam dry completely.
