Dual GRADIENT technology from PEAK includes PEAK R-pad and PEAK S-pad. Two rebound modules with different densities are integrated into the front sole according to pressure distribution, enabling faster starts and higher rebond. In the rear sole, two shock-absorbing modules, again with different densities, ensure a comfortable, cushioned landing, avoiding shocks to lower limbs and feet. Together, the four modules minimize stress on the feet, meeting the demands of high-intensity activity and providing vital support.

Three materials - shock-absorbing ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) in the mid-heel, energy storage material (ESS) under the EVA and a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) window in the outsole - create a step-by-step shock absorption process. On landing, the impact force on the heel is absorbed by the EVA and ESS materials through deformation; the enclosed air pressure and ESS material then work to rapidly reverse the deformation, returning the material to itsorigine state and applying a vertical force. These materials improve shock absorption in the heel, as well as the support provided by the insole.
